On the 6 of August the Ferry «Vilnius» delivered from Sassnitz (Germany) to Baltijsk the next, fifth in turn, high-speed train «Sapsan» (Velaro RUS) produced by trust «Siemens». After Customs clearance the train will be shipped further to St-Petersburg for railway service Moscow-Saint-Petersburg. According to the scheduleFerry «Vilnius» will deliver from German to Russia three more trains «Sapsan» till the end of year 2010. «Sapsan» is high-speed train able to move maximum speed 250 km/hour, this allow to cover in railway route from Moscow to Saint-Petersburg for 3 hour 45 minutes.

Cruise Liner MS “Deutschland” have called to Baltiysk. MV The large “Lux-class” Cruise Liner MS “Deutschland” owned by German shipping company “Peter Deilmann Crises” have called to Baltiysk on June the 17th, 2009 in accordance with cruise schedule over the Baltic Sea Port's. The modern and comfortable passenger vessel with “length over all” 176 meters and dedweight 22496 gross tonnage was moored at the berth of “Railway Ferry Terminal” in Baltisyk. Upon arrival the 480 foreign tourists, most of which are Germans, as well as over 250 foreign crewmemers, went ashore and visited Kaliningrad region. The maritime agency OOO “DFDS Lisco” was acting as general ship's agent for above call. In cooperation with local tourist company “Baltma Tours” our agency perfomed complex agency care for the ship, passengers and crew. The Cruise Liner MS “Deutschland” have been scheduled for the next year call at Baltiysk on August 31st, 2010. Photos of the ship Master’s review

Recommencement of Ferry navigation between Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg. MV Georg Ots arrived at Baltiysk port at the first time after annual maintenance.
